The safety of our church family is our top priority. Here's how we decide during severe weather — and how you'll hear.
How we decide
Decided early, announced clearly.
- Sundays: we decide by 6:00 AM whether in-person services are cancelled — and let you know if an online service will be available.
- Everything else (groups, rehearsals, classes, events): decided and announced at least 2 hours before the start time.
- No announcement means we're on. If you don't see an official cancellation, services are happening in person.

A quick checklist.
Even when services aren't cancelled, please only travel if you feel safe — road conditions vary a lot by location and vehicle. We completely understand if you stay home and watch online.
If services are on, Kids Church and the nursery stay open unless we announce otherwise.
- Check email, text, or dwellinghousechurch.com by 6:00 AM.
- Look for the official cancellation notice.
- No cancellation announced? Services are on.
- Only travel if you feel safe.
- Scheduled to serve but staying home? Let your team leader know as soon as you can.
